Hi guys,
excuse my ignorance, but we have recently purchased a Gr-hd100 and a DR-hd100.
We want to shot footage and record it onto both DVtape and the DR100, which we have done.
Our problem lies in that the reason for recording on the tape is to have a backup so when the footage is deleted from edit suite we can, if required, re digitize it from the tape.
What we can't seem to do is set the DR unit so when we import footage from it it has the same TC as the DV tape on the edit suite, infact the time code inn the edit suite seems to change depending on what order you import the clips.
When recording, if we set the the display to DV PAL the timecode shown is the same as that of the tape, but this TC still is not imported into edit suite.
We are using Avid Liquid PAL format.
Am I missing something obvious?
Is it not possible to do?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated
Thanks,
Nick
