Not sure which forum this should be in - sorry...

My mom is sending me some of my dads old lenses. There's a good variety and all I'd need is an FD mount to get them to work on the XL1s. Any suggestons on how to package and ship these?

What are you hoping to do with the old Canon lenses? Just thought I would ask before you and your mom go through a lot of trouble to ship them.

If they are anything like my old Pentax lenses, they are pretty solid. I'd wrap them in a sheet of foam, then pack them in a box filled with stuffing of some sort.
