I have to make a music video, i want to shoot in HD and down-convert in SD, from what i heard on DVinfo it's the way to go, i also heard that the best way to edit HD files (M2T) is to render them in "intermediate" HD files, to give your PC a chance...
Is there anyone here using these methods? who can give me advice on "the way to go"?
for exemple is this ok?
1- Shoot the video in HD.
2- Capture the HD files in M2T format.
3- Render the files as AVI format using the HDV 1080-60i intermediate template.
4- Work on the editing with these files.
5- Edit with After Effect possible? without damaging the quality?
6- Render the final project with the NTSC DV Widescreen 24P template for SD.
Please let me know if you see something wrong, thanks!
