Rich Dykmans January 9th, 2007, 10:29 PM All you need is a firewire cable. Check the Apple website to see which capture preset is recommended for your camera. It appears most of the Canons use HDV FW basic. I think you need to qualify that statement a little. You need to be running Final Cut Pro version 5.0 or greater. The previous versions, including FCP 3, FCP 4 and FCP 4.5 cannot capture HDV.
