I'm planning on a A1 for my next camcorder (HVX is too much for me right now :( ) and im wondering if I should wait till NAB to see if anything arises. What are your predictions for NAB and should I wait to just get a camera I know will be good?

If you wait on a camera to be introduced at NAB it also may be too much.
The A1 is a fine camera.

Anything that debuts at NAB, which I personally think is unlikely for any big camera announcements, except maybe panasonic probably wouldn't be available for purchase until months after NAB aways.

A month from now is Feb NAB is april, stuff debuted there is usually unavailable until around june. Can you wait that long?
