Looks very intersting. I imagine it will only shoot 1080/60i though. I was hoping JVC would do what Canon did with the XLA1 and release a hand held HD100 type 24P camera.

The Everio though looks very cool. It has a 1920x1080i newer type MPEG-2 encoding mode, and a lower res 1440x1080 mode. In addition to these, there is an HDV compliant mode for 1440x1080i. Very interesting.
