Thanks, Larry Dave Uriarte July 31st, 2008, 06:00 PM I'm finally assembling my first "real" light kit for interviews! For hard lighting: I'm looking for a couple of fresnels like the arri 300w and 650w variety. Maybe even a lowel pro light. Better if the following accessories are included: barndoors, power cord, and light stand. Also need a softbox like the chimera xx small. For soft lighting: I'm looking for 2 lights, preferably one 2-light and one 4-light bank like the lowel caselite, kino flo, or cool lights. Would prefer them to have eggcrates. And daylight balanced bulbs. Also looking for a light stand/boom arm combo that can support something like a 300w arri fresnel with a chimera or other softbox (for hair/backlighting). Also looking for other misc. lighting/grip accessories - backdrop supports, clamps, gels, diffusers, reflectors, sandbags, flags, cookies, even gloves :) Please email me if you have anything above you're interested in selling, as well as your asking price. Thank you all for your time! You guys and gals rock! I'm no newbie either, been a developer since 1994! :) Sorry Chris, I was thinking that going at it a different way might yield success. I can't troubleshoot access problems very well due to my mod privs. I have access to pretty much everything on the forum by default. Perhaps that's why it works ok for me. But I've never known anyone to experience issues with downloading post attachments. -gb- Chris Davis August 1st, 2008, 11:10 AM I sent a message to Chris. Don't need it anymore (sold all of my Canon XL series cams). Works just great. Use fantastic Nikon glass to give your video that 16mm film look. Note: The adapter does introduce a 7:1 lens focal length conversion (ie. using a 15mm Nikon lens is akin to using a 105mm video lens), and all is manual, no auto functions are passed through to the camera. Can be used on XL1, XL1S, XL2 and XLH1 cameras. Asking $135.00 OBO to your door. SOLD! Thanks for looking. -Ken http://www.omegastudios.net/temp/novoflex-1.jpg http://www.omegastudios.net/temp/novoflex-2.jpg Ken Grohs August 1st, 2008, 06:55 PM I have a BRAND NEW Canon 1.6x tele-extender for the XL series camcorders. Don't need it anymore (sold all of my Canon XL series cams). Can be used on XL1, XL1S, XL2 and XLH1 cameras. Not much more to say. It's never been used (another one of my thought-I-needed-it purchases). Asking $195.00 to your door (cost me near $300.00). My loss is your gain! James Duffy August 2nd, 2008, 11:11 AM The camera's as good as new, as it's seen less than 15 hours of usage. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm moving to Korea for a year, and it won't do me any good sitting here gathering dust. The case is a "Kata CCC-193 Soft Case". It's a "soft case", but very solidly built. I'm including all the original accessories that came with the camera, the original manual (and original box if desired), as well as two generic 8-hour high-capacity batteries. Looking for $2800. Will entertain lower offers but give it to the first person to offer full price. I'll also give priority to anyone who can pick it up locally in the northern VA / Washington DC area so I don't have to worry about shipping it.
