I have 2 Firestore FS-HD I used for a day for a commercial shoot, They are in perfect condition I even left the plastic on the face so there is no scratches and did not register warranty either..I did upgrade these to 250GB hard drives.. I recorded with my GY-HD100 in (m2t) format 720p and the other recorder HV30 in (m2t) format 1080i all worked great and dragged and dropped files to my computer with no problem..

I need to sell these so I can upgrade to the FS-HD100
I would like to sell both at once but I can seperate if nessesary..
I will ship UPS and accept Paypal

Price $1100 seperate or $2100 for both
Shipping will be $25 for one or $40 for both

Here is a picture of both repackaged

would be interested for one, but i can take both for 1800 +shipment (i am located in switzerland so shipment will be a bit higher).
I would use it with Sony FX1 in 1080i50, is it compatible (i think so, it is just not compatible in DV mode) ?
Is there any charger or power supply ?
are they 100V only or 100-240V ?
you can be paid immediately with paypal.

I've been going through my office de-cluttering and found this in the back of a drawer. I bought it 3 years ago new for a shoot with my friends old pd170. We used it for a day or two and I put it in the drawer. I can't believe it's been there for 3 years. I don't know anyone with a PD150, 170 or VX2000, and It won't work on my other cameras. It may work on other cameras, I don't know.

Anyone want it?

Great shape, caps and bag included.

I think their around 250 new now and this one has been used once maybe twice, So how about $130+shipping. O.B.O.

I can't wait to see what else is in this rack of drawers. I was just wanting to sell of my JVC gear and now I find I've collected a bunch of stuff over the years.

send me a pm

Thanks,
Bryan

I am not sure about the 1080 50i ....They both come with chrargers/powersupplys and it looks to be 110 dont see anything that says 240... I do have to stay with my price, these were only used for a 6 hour shoot and they are still New... also if your out of US your paypal would have to be a verified account... I can offer free shiping if you bought both to your location..

Hope this helps!

mmh... not sure about that deal. sorry to be nasty about your offer but...
same item at B&H (60gig drive) is 700$.
and a 250gig 2.5 drive is about 100$.
so i can get that new for 800$.
if i replace the 60gig drive with a 32gig SSD (solidstate drive) , it cost me about 150$ more (250 for the 64 gig version) , so 850$ for a 32 gig SSD firestore HD
still far from your price....

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/553295-REG/Focus_Enhancements_ASYF_1314_01LF_FS_4_HD_Portable_DTE.html

seems the SSD mentioned above is a total crap, so do not take this one as reference.
but it should work into a firestore for video recording

Really great and all your pricing! but.....I bought 3 of the Firestore FS-HD 60GB and bought lowest price Hard drives $146 same manufacture as the originals. Then upgraded all 3 took about 3 hours and one of the FS-HD 250GB wouldnt work! So,,,I tried everything to get it to work again! NOW JUNK!

Long story short!
1 out of 3 chance It will turn to junk that I actually know of!
So it is well worth buying a working upgraded Firestore with all updates with a harddrive same as the original manufactures.

I am usually the one to say Live it up "take a chance" but not in this case, Im out the cash "wish I would have bought someone else's pre upgraded FS-HD and would have saved...

Giroud, can you really take a firestore unit and replace the HD with one of those SSD units and have the firestore function using the new memory?

XDCam, with a RED on order.

Giroud Francois
July 26th, 2008, 03:57 AM
as as i can say, SSD unit are totally compatible with IDE/SATA drives, except they are supposed to eat less energy (half power is required, so longer battery life) and be faster (that depend model and technology).
The one mentioned above is on the cheap side (MLC instead SLC technology) but with 50/20 MB/s for read/write it is still a lot faster than needed to capture video.
they are straight replacement for usual harddisk.
There are many people upgrading their firestore and few bad news. (but dismantling a firestore is always a chance to break it).
Usually people upgrading firestore are looking for bigger drives, so SSD with 32 and 64 gig are not really better (unless you got a 40 gig model) , but if your are looking for a totally solid state system, there is no other way for instance.I ordered the Transcend 64gig yesterday (less than 300$ with international shipment) and will test it in a laptop or usb external box to see if video capture is ok.
then i will look for a cheap FS-4 HD or dismantle my DSR-DU1 to replace the 80 GB disk (originally was 40 and i already upgraded, but unfortuntely this device is not accpeting HDV) . FS 5 is coming so there will be plenty on ebay soon.

Matt,

I wish you would have let me know that you wanted more for the tripod. I didn't appreciate setting up a meeting to buy the tripod and having you not show and not answer your phone.

You could have simply told me you no longer wanted to sell it for $250, you could have saved me some gas and time.

Jonah,
You never set up a meeting. I had work when your boss was in the area, but then I never heard from you again. There was never even a meeting location so how did you go somewhere to meet me? We didn't set up a meeting, we didn't pick a location to meet, and you never called after I couldn't get off work to meet up with your boss.

If that is true, you could have answered one of the half dozen calls or even replied to me that you had something come up. But you didn't.

No we didn't have a meeting place, you told me to call when my pick up person was in your area and you would meet them. So after she drove to the area you choose, you stopped answering your phone.

You are right, I didn't call again because I don't deal with flaky people.

Try to be a little more reliable.

It's a very long story, and I love this camera, but I've decided to focus more on my still photography than on my new tech-obsession with video. It's a sad hard decision, but I have to do it.

All the equipment is mint, and less than 5 months old. Everything you need is here: batteries, cards, zoom control, cover, shotgun mic, etc. I have receipts and manuals for everything, and original boxes for some. I'd like to sell everything together, as I have custom cut the Pelican foam to fit everything precisely, and it can be shipped safely in this. Everything is still under warranty from manufacturers.

List of included equipment:
- Sony PMW-EX1 (mint, no backfocus problems, it went to Sony once and got the latest firmware update)
- (2) 8gb SxS cards
- (1) 16gb SxS card
- (1) Sony BP-U30 battery
- (2) Sony BP-U60 batteries
- B+W 77mm UVA slim filter on lens
- Petrol (PRC-S-HDV) rain cover with carry bag
- Pelican 1610 waterproof case w/ foam custom cut, wheels, pull out handle, auto pressure valve
- Cinetatics ls40 screen hoodie (never used)
- Sennheiser K6 Power Module (for mic)
- Sennheiser ME66 Short Shotgun mic (super cartoid)
- 1' coiled XLR cable with 90-deg (for mic)
- Bebob Zoe Zoom Control for EX1 (for controlling zoom remotely)
- Rycote Softie (wind cover for mic)
- Original battery charger, video cables that came with EX1, camera strap

All of this stuff bought new retail would total $9635 +tax. I'm asking $8600, as it's all in mint condition. Pop the case open and you are ready to shoot in 1080p with the EX1.

You can view the four pieces I shot with this exact camera setup on my website: www.jmvdigital.com (under Motion page) or on my Vimeo page: http://www.vimeo.com/jmvdigital.

Sachtler DV 6 SB fluid head paired with the Sachtler Speedlock 2-stage carbon fiber legs. Less than 5 months old. Features a 75mm bowl, 20lbs. payload capacity, lightup bubble level, mid-level spreader, steel spike feet with additional rubber flat feet for hard surface. Comes with their plush padded zip-up bag. Super steady, barely used. I machined a small hole in top sliding plate to allow it to be mounted to slide forward and backward while still allowing access to the safety bolt. Functions exactly as it does stock, except now you can reverse the plate to compensate for overly rear-balanced cameras like the Sony EX1. I had to do it, otherwise the head would always creep because the balance couldn't be achieved perfectly, now it's more flexible.

The exact specs: http://www.sachtler.us/index.php?id=1109&exp_mode=product&exp_pid=334&exp_cid=109

Sells for $2150 retail, asking $1700.

I am finally selling my P+S Technik Mini35 "Oszie" (400 series) with DVX relay and PL mount. I hear little rumors that it is possible to modify this relay to work with the HVX200 by removing the shroud and using a step-up ring...can't confirm or deny this. In any event, it's up for sale along with my custom viewfinder and power distribution mods. Pictures, descriptions and prices here (http://web.mac.com/chupap/mini35/Home.html).

I would love to sell this turnkey so I am offering a 10% discount on the complete package, however I will entertain offers for individual components if necessary.

I'm selling a slightly used EX1 with the standard accessories. Two 8GB SxS cards, a BP-U30 battery, charger, cables, manual etc. I have a pelican case for it as well that I'll sell separately.

Our company used this camera as a backup and a B camera on our current project, and we used it very little. We no longer need it and our depreciation is your gain. Selling it for $5500 plus actual shipping.

The camera has 30 hours on it.

I recently bought this Anton Bauer Dionic 90 for my XL H1S and I love it. But I am looking to get the heavier Anton Bauer Hytron 100 to help balance out my camera as it is still a little front heavy with the rails, mattebox, and follow focus on it.

Would anyone be interested in the Dionic 90 battery?

Looking for $325 + shipping. Or local pickup is fine. It is in perfect, new condition.
