Mike Teutsch July 3rd, 2008, 06:40 PM Wade,
I had one myself and I truly loved it. But, sold the JVC camera and bought a Canon and that was the end. It will play and record standard DV and 720p, but that is all.
Check the compatibility of the JVC HDV cameras too, as it will not do them all.

Jeff Harper July 4th, 2008, 06:36 PM Selling lot of 4 WD raptor 10k rpm drives - $325 firm. 2x36GB and 2x150GB. The 150s are the clear case X drives, and less than six months old, like brand new.
Ideal setup for these drives, at least as I used them, was 2x36 Raid 0 for your OS, then 2x150's in Raid 0 as work drive. If you haven't run Raid 0 for your video editing, you are in for a treat with these.
I have upgraded to the VelociRaptors and don't need these any longer.
Shipping not included.

Ivan Snoeckx July 5th, 2008, 05:26 AM It's a very great DVD, and I can't imagine that someone who has bought it, wants to sell it.
Joe Rizzo-Naudi July 5th, 2008, 08:38 AM Up for sale is a Canon XHA1, bought in October 2006 from Dabs.co.uk. In great condition, had sporadic use, probably averaging 30 hours recording time in total. Tape heads cleaned whenever switching tape brands, but for the most part have been using Panasonic AVMQs. Comes boxed with all accesories and manuals. Comes with Crumpler camera rucksack to fit the XHA1, offers great protection without looking like it holds a camcorder!
Also for sale is a Libec LS38 video tripod with fluid head. Great tripod for these size cams, a review can be seen here- http://www.dvuser.co.uk/content.php?CID=150 (hope I'm allowed to post that link, sorry if not!) Bought Jan 2008 and had very little use.
Finally I have a T-Bone EM9900 shotgun mic to complete the package with a Beyer Dynamics shock mount.
Altogether I'd be looking for around £2150 ono Not sure if that's too high, let me know- I'm open to offers. Will also be willing to split the package for the right price. Thanks for looking!

Both units are in excellent condition. I'm looking for $700 for the MXO and $700 for the Cinema Display.
Let me know if interested. Thanks.

Tim Le July 6th, 2008, 05:22 PM For Sale is a brand new, never used OConnor Ultimate DV fluid head. This is the ideal high-end, premium fluid head for smaller cameras like the Scarlet, HVX200, EX1, etc.
The head comes with the following accessories:
Mini Euro quick-release platform and camera mounting plate with 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 camera mounting screws
100mm bowl and tie-down knob
One (1) pan bar, 14.5" long, 3/4" diameter, 34° bend
Price: $2200 or best offer (+$35 if shipped, +$58 if using Paypal)
Terms of sale: local pickup preferred (LA, Orange or Riverside county, meet me halfway). Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check (must wait to clear) or Paypal (+ $58 Paypal fee). Continental U.S. only.
Condition: Brand new, never used. Some scuff marks on the camera mounting plate but no other marks on the head itself. The 100mm bowl has no marks on it at all, indicating it has never been mounted to a tripod. The pan bar and bowl tie-down are still sealed in plastic. No paperwork with the head other than a spec sheet.
Specs:
Capacity:
24 lbs (10.9 kg) @ 4 in.
18 lbs (8.2 kg) @ 6 in.
15 lbs (6.8 kg) @ 8 in.
Tilt Range: +/- 90°
Height: 6.5 in
Width: 6.8 in
Depth: 4.6 in
Weight: 8 lbs (all up weight including QR platform, bowl, tie-down, and pan-bar--verified on my scale)
Product background:
The Ultimate DV is a rare fluid head that OConnor stopped making a few years ago to concentrate on their larger film heads. This very well could be one of the last brand new Ultimate DV heads in existence. I am selling this because I have two of these heads and this was a back-up. It has been sitting in storage so I figured someone else could make better use of it.
The Ultimage DV was a follow-up to the OConnor 515. This was the smallest head they made but it is as full featured as their larger heads. It uses the exact same fluid drag and sinusoidal counterbalance technology. In fact, the Ultimate DV is basically identical to the OConnor 1030 except it is a little narrower and supports less weight.
The counterbalance is unique in that it is infinitely variable all the way down to zero. No other head can do this. You can even put an HV20 on it if you want to. The fluid drag is also infinitely variable and is capable of tremendous amounts of drag when dialed all the way up. The bubble level has an LED to illuminate it. The head is compatible with several OConnor accessories and unlike other heads, the base can be removed and switched to a Mitchell mount or 150mm bowl. And of course, you get the famous OConnor "feel."
The only drawbacks I have with this head is it is a little heavier than a comparable head (but then again it is extremely rugged) and the counterbalance knob could be more ergonomic and easier to turn. But that knob is the exact same way on the OConnor 1030.
If you regularly use smaller cameras and have always wanted a brand new OConnor head but could not afford a $5000 1030HD, this is your chance. OConnor use to sell this package for around $2500. So you're still getting a discount on a brand new head and a rare one at that.

There is, but you have to have been a member X number of days (can't remember how many). Expect this topic to get moved to the Private Classifieds when a moderator notices.

Dave Uriarte July 7th, 2008, 10:20 AM Mark - did you get my email last week? I'm interested in your kit but I haven't heard back from you.
Also, could you clarify your post stating it is a short capsule - there is only one flavor of ME67 as far as I know and Sennheiser refers to it as the long capsule. The ME66 is the short capsule. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Thanks for your time!
Dave

That is because you have to be a member for "X" number of days or have "Y" number of posts. As a new member, I would caution you not to expect too big of a response. Kind of like an eBay feedback rating that has 4 comments... a low post member is viewed cautiously, especially in the private classifieds.

Amit Sitapara July 7th, 2008, 10:03 PM This package includes...
-Super mint Sony Vx2100
-External charger, the real Sony one that retails for ~$150
-2 no-name npf960's that last forever
-1 original battery
-Quantaray urban pro backpack
-2 left over sony premiums
I bought this camera from a friend that had used it to record a total of 2 tapes. He never captured on it but I did. However, in the 16 months I have owned the camera, I can say I've hardly used it. I've recorded 15 tapes and captured most of them throughout. All in all, less than 50 hours of head wear. The external charger charges very fast and it was well worth the money I spent on it. The backpack that carries all of this still has room for much, much more, including a 15" laptop.
I have absolutely babied this camera, it has never seen any abuse and it has always functioned 100% perfectly. My reasons for selling are that, 1. I don't use it much as previously stated, 2. I need the money to pay for college ($40k a year, can you believe that?!)
I am located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia and I would be just fine with meeting up in an open public place. I will ship to anywhere in the world if the buyer is willing to pay.
My asking price is $1600+shipping.
