its a sad day to sell it on my end.

According to the manual, this deck cannot play HDV 1080/25F. I can't verify that by experience, nor I am I aware if that mode on the XL-H1 is somehow different. It's NTSC/PAL switchable, but only to the extent that it plays 1080/60i and 1080/50i. Sorry.

Just to clarify, if you sell an item on this board in the typical fashion, and the buyer is concerned about security and legitimacy and requests that doing the transaction through a direct buy on Ebay, that would violate the Terms of this forum? I am only asking because I could see that coming up possibly. Having Ebay ID numbers and Paypal record attached to a transaction adds legitimacy if you have a problem later. It is easier to track.

I understand the policy against Ebay items in general....but I would think that this would be okay. I'm cool either way, but it would seem how a buyer and seller choose to finalize a transaction "after" it was posted on this board is up to them.

I've decided to sell my beloved CRT monitor from my edit suite (even though I'm not completely convinced JVC's new LCDs are a 'perfect' replacement.)

Anyway, up for sale is a DT-V1710CG (http://pro.jvc.com/prof/attributes/tech_desc.jsp?model_id=MDL101396&feature_id=02) 17" HD CRT monitor with 1100 hours on it. The 16x9 bevel is already mounted and the monitor and all input cards will ship in their original cardboard boxes and styrofoam inserts with manuals. I've taken this monitor out of the edit suite and to set a couple of times so it has a cosmetic scratch or two on the outer gray metal casing. The screen and black bevel are in perfect condition.

FORMATT FM500 Matte Box w/58 & 93 Adapters

Has one small dent, minor scratches, and general wear from 2 years of use. Has been kept away from dust and moisture when not in use, but was used outside when it was dusty and rainy from time to time.

Everything works just fine. The original set screw broke but was replaced with a standard screw.
