Bought this camera 7 months ago from the united states. It had been lost in storage for many years and was in a unused condition. I have only put 8 tapes through it, and half of them were off loaded via tape decks so I'd estimate there are only 14 hours on the heads. The camera runs great, with only a few scratches here and there on the body from my use, but the optics are perfect. I taped a piece of clear plastic with 16:9 guides drawn on it for my reference but it can be removed no problem.

* 40 minutes, 1 hour and 12 hour batteries
* Power adapter and charger
* Hard aluminium Canon case.
* Kenko .65 Wide Angle converter
* Camera Lamp that runs off the camera's spare batteries.

I've had this cam for less than 6 mos. and have only used it as a 3rd cam four times for wedding shoots. The cam has been well taken care of and no visible marks. I can provide pics to serious inquiries. This cam sells for ~$999 on BH Photo and a little cheaper at some scam stores and ebay. Here's the info link:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/475452-REG/Sony_HDRHC7_HDR_HC7_1080i_HDV_Camcorder.html

Along with the cam I will be offering a high capacity battery (Sony NP-FH70 Camcorder Battery) and carrying bag. My asking price is: $800

If interested pm me or send email to tdavis2 at nc dot rr dot com

Hi Scott,
Where are you shipping from?

Ronald Lee

Hi there,

I am selling my Sony prosumer DVCAM, the DSR PDX10. It is in excellent condition and has served me well. MSRP: $2400

It comes with the, Box/Packing, Manual, Wireless Remote, Power Supply, Shoulder Strap, Battery, Lens Cover, Lens Hood, USB Cable, A/V Cable, Power Cable, 8MB Memory Stick Card, Lens Cleaning Cloth, ShotGun Microphone, Microphone XLR Adapter, Sony .73 wide angle lens, extra QM91D battery (super long lasting), additional UV lenses, ND filters, and polarizer.

The Sony DSR PDX10 has 3 CCD “True Widescreen” 16:9 native chips which records & displays 20% more resolution than standard 4:3 recording mode (and it can shoot in 4:3 as well. Comparible cameras without:16:9 chips, such as the pd150, would need an anamorphic adaptor lens to capture true widescreen like the PDX10, but this lens has its limitations in certain camera shots.

I've used this camera to shoot short films that have screened at festivals and instruction videos because it also has one of the highest DVCAM resolutions in a small format camera. It uses 14-bit analog to digital converter eliminating rounding off errors seen in lesser bit rate processors and records in the professional DVCAM format that utilizes 8-bit component 4:1:1 color sampling, 5:1 intra-frame compression at 25 mega-bits per second. Will also record and playback in the universal DV format. Maximum recording time is 40 minutes in DVCAM and 60 minutes in DV.

It has high quality 3.5 inch active matrix LCD screen. This size LCD is a “major difference to smaller screens and takes a lot of strain off of the shooter from using the eyepiece for long and idle periods. The screen is also touch-sensitive for certain menu options and has spot focus, meaning it will focus on whatever object you point to on the screen.

They say, “Sound is half the picture”. The PDX10 has Professional Balanced XLR Audio Connectors which you can plug in 2 professional microphones into the XLR box. The DSR-PDX10 accepts 2 professional microphones with its XLR adapter box. This unit gives line-level and mic-level switchability as well as phantom power.

I really like shooting with this camera. I like the more compact design of the PDX10 than the elongated shape of its cousin, the Sony DSR PD150. But the PDX10 has the same solid construction as the pd150 and the same weight and mass for performing steady handheld shots. PDX10’s overall layout is as intuitive as the pd150. I found it easy to nail action shots with the well-located zoom toggle and the 3.5” LCD screen.

The PDX10 is loaded with professional features-too much to list.

Pictures of the camera can be seen here on ebay. Asking price on ebay seem to average around $1400 so I'll sell for $1300 shipped.

If you are interested, please email me, audio90@shaw.caNOSPAM

Hi, what do mean "has one of the highest DVCAM resolutions" ? Do you mean horizontal luminance resolution? Might want to explain for newer buyers.

Mike

Ronald Lee
January 5th, 2008, 01:19 PM
It has the highest pixel dimension resolution for DVCAM, which is why it was a 'darling' and craved out a niche following when it came out, compared to it's older brothers, such as the PD150/170 series. It actually have more pixels length and width and shoots native 16:9 with the full chip, not a crop job that most other DVCAM cameras do.

Hi, I am selling the following items together as a package:

-Canon XH A1 1.67MP 3CCD High-Definition Camcorder with 20x Optical Zoom
-Letus35FE 35mm Adapter (Flip Enhanced).

I will include the original box the camera came in, the manuals, and the remote control for the camera.

The retail prices of the items are:
$3,329.99 + $700.00 = $4029.99

I am offering to sell the whole package for $3700.

Buyer pays shipping. If you live near the Chicagoland area, even better because you can come pick it right up.

Both items are barely used and are like new. Both work absolutely fine and don't have defects. I've tested them by shooting some test shorts and it looks fantastic. This is really a great combo (check out the xh-a1 forums for user videos).

I am selling only because I have to. I have to leave for college soon and I have bills piling up and need to pay them off. I was dreaming about getting this for months but now I can't keep it. (But hey, that's life!)

I will accept paypal (or cash if picking up). Contact me by e-mail. Thanks.

John

You obviously didn't read the instructions on the packet!

Where are you? There is no country listed for your name, let alone state.

Where are you prepared to ship to? You failed to mention.

How do you want payment? Again, you failed to mention.

In short, read the instructions on the packet, and just maybe the product will work.

There's probably nothing wrong with the product you're trying to sell, but the sales technique needs a bit of work.

this is intended as feedback--B&H is selling for $419 new, so your original post was not tempting. i typically don't like when people chime in about pricing--but since you're puzzled why no one took you up on the offer of $400. $375 is better....
