Lookin' for $2000 but we can talk about it.

I'll consider breaking up the lights and the monitor only to save on shipping. The rest goes together.

Forgot to mention above: Buyer pays for shipping and insurance.

I'd be very interested in the tripod and 501, but I really don't have any use for an XL1s.

Aaron Rosen
February 1st, 2008, 04:19 PM
I'm still looking to sell it all together.

Can you provide a list of the items that are still available...or has everything been sold?

Derek Mills

Do these lights get hot..i.e., radiate heat? I'm concerned because I want to get a softbox/light setup, but am concerned about the heat coming from it.

I will be placing them close to people being interviewed in their homes. Most likely in a living room, etc.

Derek Mills
February 1st, 2008, 05:51 PM
Can you tell me the date of purchase, and will you provide the original receipts?

Derek Mills
February 1st, 2008, 06:08 PM
Just to give you a heads up that Canon XL2 is listed in may different cities, with many different prices, and they are all the same add!

Thanks...I've never purchased anything from Craigslist because it doesn't offer any type of security measures, etc. I have though, purchased off of feeBaY quite often, and have had good experiences, thus far.

Purchase day is fast approaching, and I'm split between the XH-A1 and XL2. The XH impresses me cuz it has HD. Does anyone know the focal length of XH vs. XL2?

Henry Cho

derek,

the light is a hot light and will generate some heat... no more heat than any other 1k lamp however.

Aluminum, not carbon. Older model head equivalent to current Video15 in payload. Two drag settings (basically on, off - equivalent in feeling to Video20 set on #5). Strong, smooth, reliable pans and support (I use it with 30lb rig and it is great). Very nice condition, complete system. Asking $1,800

For sale Panasonic DVX 100 used for interviews on a tripod most of the time, no skateboarding or snow boarding videos. 369 Hours, don't need any services until 1000 hours, cleaning tape included, comes with all accessories, manual, extra filters, arm-brace, 3(original, 5 hour and 9 hour) batteries and a protective metal carrying case. Perfect working condition. Call Alex 604-230-4337.

You probably already know a lot about this camera, but if not here is some info:

Why buy this when there are high definition cameras available?- price, features and purpose first of all, I used it for Web video so resolution, especially in progressive mode was more than enough. - manual focus, 3CCDs, manual shutter and iris, manual white balance, zebra to help with exposure setup, 2 XLR mic inputs, progressive scan, 6 presets for different shooting modes, color settings that I've mentioned at the top; those are some of the most desirable features that u don't get with your regular Bestbuy camera. To get those features in an HD camera you gotta be spending upwards of 5K depending on format, etc.

Unlike High Definition cameras, DV does not require multiple CPU computers or huge hard drives, or huge ram. I can manage my post video editing on a macbook core duo 1.83Ghz with a 60GB hard drive.

Looking to get $1900CDN but open to reasonable offers. Would prefer a local sale (Vancouver, BC) but will ship to the right buyer with paypal payment and you would have to cover shipping + paypal's fee on top of the negotiated price.

Here is a review of DVX100 vs XL2 vs Sony FX1:

Thanks for looking,
Alex =)

Hi there, I am selling my set of Redrock 24 inch 15mm rods. They have never been used. I purchased them last year but they have been sitting around here unused so time to let them go to a new home.

They are superbly made and of the correct size. No struggling to use them with other base plates etc.

Here are a couple of photos.

FS: Panasonic 7" monitor TC-7WMS1 in excellent condition. Comes complete with a Hoodman sunshade. I had powered it with an Anton Bauer on-board battery on an XL2, although I read on this site that you can also use alarm batteries which will last 5-6 hours. If you're not moving around, you can also just plug it in via a wall wart (comes with two different power adapters -- Anton Bauer and external power). This is a perfect 16x9 display for Canon XL2, XL1, or Panasonic DVX100, etc. with or without a 35 mm adapter. Never tried it with an XL-H1 or XH-A1, but I would imagine it works fine.

Here is what Rob from Nebtek told another DVinfo user about the TC7-WMS1 :

"Congratulations on the TC7-WMS1. I am still trying to find a 7" widescreen LCD for standard definition that looks as good as the Panasonic. I don't understand why they discontinued it." (Robert DuBree GM Sales & Marketing/NEBTEK)

Price: $ 690
