More info on this DVD can be found via cinematicbride.com. Basically it's a DVD tutorial that teaches basic color correction and enhancement, as well as advanced color grading. It retails for $100 (plus shipping). I'm selling it for $75 (plus shipping).

I've watched it several times, and learned everything on the DVD, so I no longer need it. The DVD is in perfect condition. Email me or give me a call 208-989-1300 if you have any questions.

Hi -
Anyone interested in a Sony HDR HC5 for a backup/second camera or for dumping tape?

I've got a couple of them available - PM or email me if interested. Using one myself, but have a couple I picked up along the way, good condition, great for a starter or second cam or a deck.

I spoke to Apple today and they said that I could only use the upgrade from FCP Studio 1. The guy on the phone gave me the last 3 digits of the serial number that is for the version that I need. Can you give me the last 3 digits? Apple said that that if I get the other upgrade version that it wont work.

Doug Tessler
December 22nd, 2008, 11:07 PM
I dont understand this an upgrade is an upgrade the only one that will not work is any educational upgrade. Like I said I has final cut pro 3 from years ago and that serial worked fine

There are two versions of the upgrade to Studio 2. One from Studio 1 which retails for $499, and then the other upgrade, which does all the rest of the versions FCP 1, 2, 3, etc... which retails for $699. Apple said that if I own FCP Studio and I purchase the upgrade to FCP Studio 2 that was meant for the FCP 1, 2, 3, then it will not work. I'm just going by what Apple said.

I would take it at asking price plus shipping to the US. I have funds in my paypal account, would that work for you? I do have my email available through the forum if you want to get in touch that way.

And if you buy "used software", make certain that the seller assigns the license to you. In the case of an upgrade, that means assigning the license of the original FCP from which the product was upgraded. That assures that you are legal in your use of the product.

I have a new Canon XL H1 for sale. I have only opened up the box, put the lens and VF on, and put the battery in (I used a battery I had for my XH A1) to make sure it powers up. I never loaded a tape. The reason I'm selling it was I thought I was getting an XL H1a and ended up with the XL H1 instead. I don't need the HD-SDI or Genlock features. The seller has agreed to take it back but I would have to pay for return shipping and restocking fees. I am willing to sell it here for $6000 OBO including shipping to CONUS. I can take a Credit card or wait until your check clears.

I need to decide quickly if I'm going to send it back (and eat the fees) so if anyone is interested please contact me quickly.

Thanks,
Garrett

Hey Doug, sorry for putting you through so much research on this. I just sold some more of my old equipment so I purchased the upgrade through a reseller. I didn't want to risk it. I appreciate what you were looking up for me though.

Thanks.

This is a Complete guide to the Sony HVR Z1U & Sony HDR FX1 on DVD.

I paid $85 for this when I bought my Z1 U, and it's well worth it if your just getting started with your ZI or FX 1.

HandsOnHDV: Instructional Videos for Sony HDV Camcorders (http://www.handsonhdv.com/PRODUCT_Z1.html)

I'll take $55 shipped in US via USPS Priority Mail

Don't know where my other post went, but I had asked what your reason for getting rid of it was. Just too much camera or what? I ask because I had looked into an XL-H1 but opted for the XH-A1 because of the size, fairly "equal" performance and of course the price.

merry Christmas!

Trevor, I removed your previous post because the OP clearly addressed your question before you asked it. Please read the original post.

OP says the camera is no longer available, so thread closed.
