Spencer Dickson January 25th, 2008, 10:57 PM How long does the Manufacturer's warranty last?
Laszlo Horvath January 25th, 2008, 11:40 PM Spencer, I can call my dealer about the warranty, but I think it's coming with Sachtler's one year warranty..
The beauty is, they authorized Sachtler Service Center too, so if anything happen they fix it in house.

Andrew Phillip January 26th, 2008, 01:35 AM I will in a month or so. Would you still be interested then?
Loren Simons January 26th, 2008, 01:50 AM yes most likely! do you know at about what youde sell it for?
Hubert Duijzer January 26th, 2008, 05:21 AM Email send.
Sean Walsh January 26th, 2008, 08:19 AM I'm looking for a simple and straightforward (and portable!) 3-light kit, with stands etc.
The main use will be for simple interviews on location (usually office, in-building settings) and for some greenscreen work.
If anyone has a reserve/back-up/second kit they're looking to part with, please drop me a line.
Many thanks, Sean
Paul Cronin January 26th, 2008, 09:07 AM Thanks Lorne is the tripod working out well?
Mike Meyerson January 26th, 2008, 09:51 AM bumpity bump....
anyone interested??? Price drop...$125 shipped.
Jason Bowers January 26th, 2008, 10:31 AM Hi John,
I am interested in just the camera if you are willing to part it out.
Jim Nogueira January 26th, 2008, 10:58 AM Red Eye Wide Angle adapter for 82mm front thread Professional Broadcast Lenses. This is a high-quality, W/A adapter that is about the size of a filter and weighs less than 100 grams. It threads onto the front of a camera lens. The 0.7x wide angle adapter will provide a 30% wider image and is supplied in a slim leather belt pouch. One major advantage of the Red Eye is that it can be used with your existing lens hoods and matte boxes.
The Red Eye was designed as a non-zoom through wide angle adapter. Set the zoom lens to its widest focal length, adjust focus ring to infinity and focus using the macro adjustment. However, the information on the FAQS page on their website claims it will work as a zoom-through with most cameras that have auto-focus. This is a function of the camera more than the Red Eye. I have not tried this, so I can't verify it.
This item is basically brand new. I used it once for about 20 minutes on a job, and never used it again. Email me for pictures.
Information about the product can be found at:
http://www.vfgadgets.com/RedEye.htm
Do a Google search and you'll find many positive review on this adapter. It sells for $400 new, plus shipping from Canada where they are made. I'm asking $350, shipping included. Thanks, Jim
Loren Simons January 26th, 2008, 11:38 AM Yes if your willing to split it im interested in all your anton baur stuff, if its at the right price ;)
Stu Siegal January 26th, 2008, 12:19 PM Head is one year old, the "Wilderness" legs and leveler are 3 years old. Head is like new, legs are in great shape, and have only minor normal wear. This package also includes the canvas tripod case, which is scuffed up, but also still works perfectly.
Also including a spare quick release plate that I have.
$350 + paypal & shipping.
All in all a great price on a setup that performs identical to new.
Dave Sanders January 26th, 2008, 12:25 PM Selling FUJINON TH13X3.5BRMU 1/3" 13x High Definition Wide-Angle Lens for JVC GY-HD100/200 Series Cameras. Lens has manual focus, servo zoom, optical stabilization>
This lens was used less than 10 times, shooting mostly interiors/corporate work. The lens as a whole and glass is in like new condition and I guarantee it. Best Price at or over 4500. gets it.
This lens originally sold for 13k from Fujinon and now sells for between 6500 and 8950. retail.
Please post back or contact me to purchase or with any questions.

Bruce Cyr January 26th, 2008, 01:08 PM I have been looking for a 503 head on a tripod that is short enough in it's folded state to set and used on a high table top. The tripod I have been using is the perfect height at 24.5", but it's junk. What is the height of your tripod in its shortest setting and is it sturdy in that position?
Stu Siegal January 26th, 2008, 01:15 PM Hi Bruce,
In it's shortest position, it is 29 inches from the top of the head to the floor, and it is very sturdy in that position, used it that way many times.
Stu

Ben Mahoney January 26th, 2008, 01:41 PM Price dropped to $3000.00 OBO. Thanks guys.
Bruce Cyr January 26th, 2008, 02:01 PM Sent you an email, but I totally forgot to ask whether this is the standard 503 or the 503HDV.
Stu Siegal January 26th, 2008, 02:02 PM It's the standard 503 head.
Lorne Mathre January 26th, 2008, 03:04 PM Working fine Paul. Just used it on a three camera cheerleading competition and it did great. thanks.
Paul Cronin January 26th, 2008, 03:11 PM Lorne great to hear is is making money for you.
Paul Cronin January 26th, 2008, 03:12 PM The Canon A1 has been sold. Thanks for all the interest.
Andrew Phillip January 26th, 2008, 03:34 PM Probably somewhere around 500$. Does that sound reasonable? It has about 2 hours of use on it thus far and I'll be shooting one final project on it.

Rafael Lopes January 27th, 2008, 12:20 AM Sold to me ;-) .................
Loren Simons January 27th, 2008, 02:38 AM depending on when you sell it i may be interested =D basically, i get a hundred dollars a month to blow, my allowance(I'm 15). And i just bought an achromat from Rafeal, so this would be a nice finisher. I'll see if there are any convenient stores that are available;) or maybe a slideshow that needs editing =D
David Chia January 27th, 2008, 08:26 AM bump...
With this you can mount the Letus Economy to rails and use it with Follow focus and Mattebox . rather then just let it hang without support of let it lie o the rails and not being able to use a Follow focus and matte box
Sergiu Pavel January 27th, 2008, 09:03 AM still available
Sean Adair January 27th, 2008, 10:40 AM also sent email :)
Jim Nogueira January 27th, 2008, 11:21 AM 1,495 for the package. All equipment well cared for. - Jim
Benjamin Richardson January 27th, 2008, 11:38 AM Still looking for a used shoulder support...
Michael Galvan January 27th, 2008, 01:21 PM Hello all,
With the advent of the sale of my XL-H1 :( , I have recently just received my new Letus Extreme, which I bought for the camera. I was thinking of keeping it for out Sony EX 1, but I think I'd rather just sell it and just rent whenever I need an adapter ( I prefer using the mini35).
So I have it for sale if anyone is interested. It took more than a month to receive mine, so if you are looking for an adapter really soon, you can buy this as opposed to waiting for the 3-4 week ship time from Letus.
Mind you, this adapter is absolutely new and hasn't been used yet. I only mounted it onto the Sony to see how it works. I have the Letus Rail support (not rods) along with both 72mm and 77mm thread to work with Sony EX as well as Canon cameras. Finally, it has the Nikon mount on it.
Let me know if you're interested. I'm sure this will sell fairly fast.
Jaadgy Akanni January 27th, 2008, 01:43 PM Too bad it don't fit the jvc HD200 'cause I would buy it from you.
Michael Richard January 27th, 2008, 01:59 PM Price reduced to $350
Chris Hall January 27th, 2008, 02:34 PM I am realizing that a trade will probably not work. What I am really after is to get a DVX100b or something similar, for a backup camera, so there is probably nothing I would want that would equate to a like-new XL1. Thanks.
Blake Cavett January 27th, 2008, 02:49 PM Thank you!

Nick Vaughan January 27th, 2008, 07:11 PM Derek: This popped up on craigslist/dfw today:
http://dallas.craigslist.org/pho/553728615.html
Camera appears to be about 7 mos. old as it still has 5 mos. left on the factory warranty. Not a bad price at all, if the person is legit.
Greg Boston January 27th, 2008, 07:19 PM BTW, there's a 16x manual lens and an FU-1000 VF by another seller both in our own classifieds. I used to have, and highly recommend both of those accessories for the XL2. There's also an AB adapter plate for sale and although those types of batteries are more expensive, they balance out the weight of the camera on the shoulder much better.
Derek, I should add that you should be pretty comfortable with buying from fellow DVINFO members.
