Ethan Cooper November 26th, 2008, 06:58 PM I'm thinking of unloading a year old FX7 that is the veteran of 15+ weddings. I capture all my tapes using an HV20, so the head hours are limited to actual shooting time.
All original accessories included, shipped in original packaging.
Asking $1500 OBO.
Zachary Fink November 26th, 2008, 06:58 PM I have an exceptional travel jib that I've used on location in Hawaii for a documentary shoot only a handful of times. The project is shot, and I no longer need the jib.
It's a Seven Jib, Compact XL, and has 6.5 feet of lift, a built in tilt brake, and folds down to only 33" long!
It works great on my Sony EX1 and EX3 cameras, but fits smaller cameras as well as larger ENG shoulder cameras. It can support cameras from 2 - 60 pounds!
The entire setup is nearly new and costs over $2000 at the beginning of the year. It includes the jib ($1295)
Bogen 1393 aluminum tripod legs ($460)
Bogen 503 Head ($250)
I'm asking $1500 for the whole package but will consider parting it out.
Everything is in great condition.
Jeff Emery November 26th, 2008, 11:03 PM I'm still looking for at least two more iRiver 890's.

Alain Lumina November 28th, 2008, 12:46 AM About Paypal--
I understand people's desire for some verification.
What people don't understand is that Paypal offers zero protection for seller if there is a really dishonest "buyer."
A volume seller with insurance can factor these losses into their business-- but, me, working paycheck to paycheck, cannot afford to lose 2k selling my camera to a scammer.
The following scenario can and does happen-here's how it goes:
1) Item's paid for with Paypal, seller ships with recorded delivery. Item arrives at buyers.
That's not the end of it.
2) The buyer can claim "SNAD" "Significantly Not As Described." Then they can send back something-anything- for instance a brick- by recorded delivery. Obviously Paypal has no facilities to intermediate in these disputes. The buyer is always believed.
3) They get a refund from Paypal. After all, they shipped it back and have the receipt to prove it.
Also, Paypal has the right to freeze your account for 180 days-that's right- 6 months- for any reason, or for no reason.
I have over 75 100% positive feedbacks on eBay- account dana_cagg- no negative feedbacks, no neutrals. NEVER had a single complaint from a buyer, or a request for a refund from one.
Paypal STILL, on an irrational whim, froze for over a day over $1500 I had transferred from my checking account into my Paypal accuont one weekend. This was not money for a sale, it was money I had transferred from the registered linked banking account- incontrovertibly my own money!
They are not governed by any banking regs, they do whatever they want.
So I'm not sure what the solution is, I want to make a sale for something I know works perfectly, with a Sagemax warranty.
I am not offering a free trial, it is a used item. I'm open to suggestions.
I guess the easiest thing is to meet in person. I show the person the camera, test it-record me saying I am selling it for x amount of dollars on receipt of currency. Play the recording back to make sure it works. They produce the rapidly-declining US currency, and the item changes hands, permanently.
Everybody's happy.
Jun Galinato November 28th, 2008, 01:21 AM Alain, why not try craigslist.com. I have sold my HVX200A camcorder through craigslist few weeks ago and have received cash. Maybe someone in your area or close to your area is looking for that kind of camera. Hope this helps.

James Miller November 28th, 2008, 01:36 AM Looks like it's now Sold, will confirm. Thanks, James
Tim Sargent November 28th, 2008, 03:46 AM Complete Redhead Video Lights Kit! 800W x 3
Includes:
2 x Cretobeam 800's
1 x QHE Redhead
2 x Cretobeam Stands
1 x Unbranded Stand
1 x Padded Case
I've compiled this kit over the last 6 months, and now its complete. I've just upgraded to a different set of lights. These are industry standard 800w redheads designed for use in video/film/tv/photography etc. Very powerful lights.
Each head is complete with safety mesh and barndoors (2 are almost new). The kit is well used, and has just had all of the bulbs replaced. All 3 heads come complete with ample flex terminated in UK plugs (unlike cheap imports from china and the far east). Cosmetically they are used so there are some scuffs, paint peeling etc - but still have plenty of life left in them. If you were that concerned about them, im sure you could touch them up or paint them etc. They are tough lights, not fragile things like others!
An excellent kit for anyone looking for a lighting kit to improve the quality of their videos.
Sold in fully working order. Collection is advised. I have not looked into posting costs, and am not sure how this could be achieved as I don't at present have any suitable packaging. Collection from Wolverhampton or Bridgnorth.
PM for photo's.
Asking price: £300 or nearest offer.
Kirk Graham November 28th, 2008, 08:12 AM off to e bay thanks

Ethan Cooper November 28th, 2008, 10:09 AM In the spirit of Black Friday I'll make one more sales pitch:
Come on guys, how can you pass up $1,500 for a 3 CMOS HD camera? She's lightweight, fits nicely on top of a stredicam, and is capable of producing stunning images.
That's it. That's my whole sales pitch. I'm willing to entertain offers.
John Dewey November 28th, 2008, 10:45 AM Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a Zylight Z90 LED Light. If anyone has one they would like to sell, please contact me through my profile or email me at:
hammerhorror AT sbcglobal DOT net
Thanks,

Jack Falbey November 28th, 2008, 03:47 PM Great condition! Works like new, just a few tiny scratches on the outside. 1 year old with 2 years remaining on the transferrable service contract. Ideal for NLE, 3D, etc. I paid over $2500 for it brand new. New job requires switching to Mac workflow.
2.2 GHz Core2 Duo T7500
2 GB RAM DDR2 667 MHz
200 GB 7200 RPM internal HDD
512 MB Nvidia Quadro FX 1600M
Windows XP Pro 32-bit
8x DVD+/-R/RW
17" WUXGA 1920x1200 LCD
Wireless & Bluetooth capable
9-cell battery (approx. 3 hours run-time)
Additional 9-cell battery
Includes all original accessories, manuals, & discs.
I will do a fresh XP install before I ship it, so you'll receive it in "as-new" condition.
I'll include a Targus padded laptop case (it looks like a soft-sided briefcase, with extra pockets for accessories & paperwork)
I'm asking $1200, or will consider trade for a similarly-equipped MacBook Pro.
Marcus Marchesseault November 28th, 2008, 05:39 PM I'm not in the continental U.S. but that's the best prefix of the choices given. Will sell to any U.S. customer. I bought the V1U when it was a new model at the end of 2006. It is in good working order and I'm selling simply to upgrade to the Z7. I love the look of the Sony 3-CMOS and I fell in love with the manual lens on the Z7.
The hours are:
Operation 25x10
Drum Run 11x10
Tape Run 8x10
Threading 18x10
I'm including the NPF-970 battery purchased with the camera that still has good run time. I'm planning to keep the Petrol PCUB-1 bag but will throw it in if I get a good price. I'm including shipping because people seem to think shipping to/from Hawaii is vastly more than on the mainland and I don't want to scare anyone away. I won't sell for less than $2100 but I think it is worth more so I'm taking offers at this time.
Spike Spiegel November 28th, 2008, 06:13 PM hey guys, still have the package, will part out the AB battery system or the other components if needed

George Strother November 28th, 2008, 06:43 PM VZ Pro-EX remote zoom control for the Sony PMW-EX1/EX3 twins.
Bought new from VariZoom, never used other than testing. Works perfectly. No marks or scratches. See VariZoom site for full specs and photo.
Why would I be selling it, you ask? Well, I have the VariZoom Pro-C that I use with my other cameras and I have finally found an adapter cable that will connect the Pro-C to my EX1. Now I can let someone else enjoy this one.
Still under factory 2 year warranty. New price from VariZoom is $399.00 + S&H.
Save a hundred bucks. Buy mine for $299.00 plus shipping.
Shotaro Kirishima November 29th, 2008, 05:14 AM I'm thinking of selling my mini35c for canon (the older nikon mount). I have used it for 2 shoots. In mint condition. I've used it with the XL-H1s and the images are superb! I've used the Redrock M2 adapter before, but the image is not even a comparison! I am selling it because I recently purchased the RED ONE camera. Let me know via PM because I don't come to this forum so often.
Michael Stewart November 29th, 2008, 09:07 AM I have used this lense twice, flawless shape.

Dylan Couper November 29th, 2008, 01:21 PM "Whether you're shooting commercials, industrials, weddings, documentaries, news, music video's or feature length motion pictures, the Glidecam V-8 will finally bring the fluidity and grace of professional, body mounted, camera stabilizers to your video productions."
If you are reading this, you probably know what a Glidecam V8 is, so I'll skip to the chase... :)
This includes:
Glidecam camera sled including extra weights and plates
Stabilizer arm
Full vest
Low mount adapter
Carrying bag (and possibly more stuff I've forgotten)
Price: PRICE DROP FROM $1650
Now $1375!!!!!
SUPER BONUS!
Sled mounted monitor and battery INCLUDED!
Info from Glidecam!
The Glidecam V-8 Professional Camera Stabilization System allows you to walk, run, go up and down stairs, shoot from moving vehicles and travel over uneven terrain with out camera instability or shake.... It is perfect for shooting the type of super smooth tracking shots that take your audience's and client's breath away. The V-8 instantly adds high production value to every scene.
THE GLIDECAM SUPPORT VEST: The Glidecam Support Vest is lightweight and comfortable and can be easily adjusted to fit a wide range of operators. High endurance closed cell, FVA foam padding and integral T6 aluminum alloy create a Vest which can hold and evenly distribute the weight of the Glidecam V-8 system across the operator's shoulders, back, and hips.
THE DYNA-ELASTIC SUPPORT ARM: The adjustable Exoskeletal Dyna-Elastic Support Arm is designed to counteract the weigh of the combined camera and Camera Mounting Assembly (the Sled) by employing a high carbon alloy spring. The Support Arm can be boomed up and down, as well as pivoted in and out, and side to side. It is the combined booming and pivoting action of the Support Arm which isolates the motions of the operator from the camera in a way that creates ultra smooth shots.
THE GLIDECAM ORBIT HINGE: The innovative Glidecam Orbit Hinge was designed to increase the isolation between the operator's hip and the Dyna- Elastic Arm. The Orbit Hinge accomplishes this isolation with the ability to rotate 360 degrees.
THE CAMERA MOUNTING ASSEMBLY: The rugged and adjustable Camera Mounting Assembly (the Sled) is designed with a lower Telescoping Central Support Post (the Extension Post) that allows adjustment of the systems vertical balance.. The Camera Mounting Platform (or the x-y motion table) moves back and forth and side to side to allow adjustment of the system's horizontal balance. The Camera Plate has both 1/4" and 3/8" mounting slots (holes) to accommodate a variety of camera bases. For remote viewing, a LCD Monitor has been attached to the front of the Base Platform. Fine Weight Disks (included) can be used on the Base Platform as counterbalance to allow adjustment of the systems vertical balance.
Glidecam L4-PRO: Professional 4" Active Matrix Precision TFT LCD Color Monitor. This monitor allows the user to see what they are shooting when the viewfinder can not be used. This monitor can be removed from the platform and used wherever a small precise monitor is needed.
Buyer pays shipping.
I will take Paypal
Local pickup is possible of course.
Will consider trades on a Steadicam Merlin

Tip McPartland November 30th, 2008, 06:49 PM This is model HDV75X82 and it is made for the Z-1. I have an adapter ring that will make it fit a V-1 also. It has four coated elements and has very little distortion and CA.
I believe it is the best wide adapter available for these cameras, it is certainly the most expensive when bought new. I paid around a thousand for it, and a couple of hundred more for the large black rubber lens hood. I bought it from Band-Pro and they told me it was the best there was. It is in pristine condition as if never used.
I will sell the converter and the lens hood for $750 or best offer. If you want this, make an offer, I am a motivated seller as I now have an EX-3 which this does not fit.
Email me at tipsd9video@msn.com or call Tip McPartland at 909 338-3160
Tip McPartland November 30th, 2008, 06:55 PM This controller attaches to your tripod handle and works for Z-1, V-1 and probably any LANC capable camera. It does not work with EX-1 or EX-3 which use an 8-pin protocol.
It has a sweet zoom control, a focus control and of course rec start/stop and rec/review.
They sell new for $250, I will sell mine for $189 or best offer (plus actual shipping).

Tip McPartland November 30th, 2008, 07:03 PM This is Sony's own sun shade for the V-1U LCD and it works very well. I now have an EX-3 so I don't need this anymore, it is in perfect condition and is a very nice addition to the camera.
Current price on B&H for this is $54.95 another site I checked was $59.95. I will sell mine for $40.00 or best offer (plus actual shipping).
