Does anyone have any experience with the Behringer Xenyx? I have heard that Behringer arnts that good of a brand, is this true? Is there new Xenyx series better than the old UB Series?

At that price I guess you can't go wrong. For less than most USB audio interfaces alone you also get a 12 input mixer with quiet pre-amps as well as downloadable recording software. http://www.equipmentemporium.com/MixingPanels.htm Behringer has sold nearly a million mixers worldwide, so I guess they have a leg-up in terms of R&D. Alesis also sells a similar mixer, albeit with 8 inputs, the Multimix 8USB which comes with Cubase at a comparable price USB mixers make a lot of sense for video editing application as they leave your firewire free for video/storage. best of luck |
