I haven't purchased a V1U yet so I am curious. Has anyone tried to connect the HDMI and Component ports simultaneously? This capability would allow me to monitor the Component outputs for pulling focus while sending the HDMI output to a Convergent HD Connect MI HDMI -> HD SDI converter to record live, directly from the camera head and bypass compression.
