I have a question for anyone out there with some audio experience.

I have 600 dollars budgeted for a wireless mic system to film a wedding. what would be some possible units that give decent enough sound for that???

truly appreciate some ideas on this.

You need UHF to be safe. Sennheiser G2 or Sony UWP-C1 systems are both very good and will do the job for you. I use the Sonys.

$600 will get you just about any unit out there (receiver, body pak transmitter and mic) other than a new Lectrosonics or Telex.
AT,AKG, Azden, Sennheiser, Samson and Sony.
Search thru the Now Hear This forum and you'll be able to read about pretty much all the units and then be able to make a decision based on fact. Also check out site sponsor B&H and goto the pro video section then into audio for video and you'll be able to see and compare all the different units.
