What are some of the ways people out there go about matching footage shot using the Letus (or other adapter) & footage shot using a stock lens?

John Benton in an earlier post mentioned a technique that helped him: 'Color gain has to be pumped for the Adapter when matching footage with the stock lens... The inverse is also true: match the stock lense by turning the Gain up to 3 and the sharpness down.'

Does anybody else have any techniques they like to use?

Henry,
depending on what camera you have, a wide angle adapter (or in my case an SD 3x wide angle XL lens) does 2 things that I find helpful:

1) it allows me to match the Letus & Stock better, while still looking completely HD
2) It allows me to get a good wide shot that often alludes me using a 20mm/24mm/28mm and any 35mm adapter.

hope that's useful,
J

Thanks John, I'll have to try that.

Indeed. When the angle is so wide the DOF is so insignificant you might as well use a filter lens straight on the camera.
