I shot this in Louisiana last month. It is in 24f. I also used magic bullet and some CC on these shots.

Joe I guess I am a real sap because I forget to watch the video fro qualities and end up being drawn in. It's great! The things they do these days...wow!

Nice job Joe, looked great. How tough was it to lay off the slo-mo due to the 24f?

Great work Joe, The A1 is really producing nice images I have the H1 and I have some doubt about the A1 to be used as second camera for the H1 , but as I see more footage I am more convinved about the A1 to produce the same image as the H1.
Now why did you use magic bullet in the the video and do you use vegas!

I really like the look of 24f and I don't use too much slo-mo, but I do use my HVX to shoot some slo-mo shots.

I like the magic bullet filters, it gives the video a little more of a film look. I'm editing in FCP.

You have to buy the Magic Bullet plugin. Then you can install them into FCP.

Joe,
Thanks for sharing the clip. It really looked great. The colors and feel of the video is spectacular. I can't wait to pick up the A1 in 1 more week. Thanks for graciously sharing your work and your experience with your camcorder.

Quick question, how is 60i frame rate on the cam? I see you prefer the look of 24f but how is 60i?

hey, more great footage as usual. I was wondering, how did you get those exterior shots of the church to look so great w/o overexposing he sky? Did you use a filter or just in camera settings or in post? Forgive me if the answer should be obvious but i'm a total noob who trying to learn ; )

I forgot to ask this before, but, what music is this?
I love the "epic"/choir sound.

Very nice Joe, I agree with all that was said and have the same questions about exposure of sky and music...also curious about how you achieved your steadi shots. Thanks

I love your work!

What's going on Matt? I see you're in the "7 cities". (Hampton Roads) Have you done any filming around the area?

Very nice, Joe. Which magic bullet filter(s) did you use for this?

Thanks for the compliments! The church there was so beautiful, its hard to make it look bad.

Monday - I haven't shot much 60i so I couldn't tell you how good it is.

I went to the church earlier in the day so I could shoot it with perfect light, That is way the sky is so blue. The shots in this intro were done with a tripod and a Glidecam 2000pro

The song is - Danny Elfman "The Finale corpse bride"

I used the Basic Magic Bullet filter and tweaked it a bit for each clip to get the best look.

Thanks again for checking out the clip.

I just want you to know, Joe, that I am really inspired by your work. I've been to your site and I've watched your vids and they are really, really nice. Hope to have the A1 sometime in my not too distant future.
