I'm assuming the eyecup flips up to accomodate different shooting situations? I haven't seen a single photo of the camera with the eyecup up.

do you mean the eye cup or the view finder? The view finder does move up for different angles.

The viewfinder tilts up most of the way, but not completely vertical.

Cool, you got one with the dial on the other side and Canon spelled backwards. I bet the LCD is flipped too.

Heheheh--that would be the left handed model, you think?

Sure, it's funny up until you hear what those outrageously expensive left-hand models cost...

Are you guys serious??

Okay, I'm not really asking that question :)

Un-jacking the thread if I might...

Yes, both models have liftable viewfinders. However, if you share one, you need to be considerate and lower the eyepiece when you're finished.

Man, does my wife hate that...

My wife hates it when I leave my LCD open on my FX1 and she tries to close it. Damn magnet on it for my DIY 35mm adapter is taped on there, and I know she will try to slam it shut one day...and there will go my LCD...

Wives!! When they slam it shut it's really... You taped a magnet on it?

Does that work? Wow! I'm going to try that tonight.

Hmmmm -- I see left-handed toilets here: http://www.nextag.com/left-handed-supply/search-html

But no left-handed cameras.
