Regarding 25p support I can only find the following:

Nothing about support V1 25p. Anyone has more insight?

well 25p is actually pretty easy since it comes in as a 50i stream. FCP will treat it as 50i but both fields of each frame will represent the same moment in time. It would be just like if you had graphics running at 25p and you sent those to tape as 50i. They would still have the same look as 25p but they sit in a 50i stream.

Even without any updates FCP should be able to read the 50i stream and deal with it as a 50i video. Now this may not be the best way to edit the footage since the timeline will render everything as 50i so any effects or graphics could render interlaced so you may have to capture the video as a normal 50i and then just edit in a custom 25p timeline. If you cannot setup a 25p project then just use a 50i project and see if you can set it up to only render progressive frames and not interlaced frames.

I do not use FCP but this is how I understand 25p would work since SONY went with a normal standard 50i signal no matter if you shoot 50i or 25p. 24p of course is a lot more complicated because of the 3:2 pulldown. 30p on the other hand should also work exactly as 60i.

Thanks Thomas! I was kind of suspecting this by reading the Sony explanation of the 25p.
Do this also mean that I can use hardware stuff (such as Blackmagic Decklink Pro HD card) supporting the same 50i streams?

I plan to use hardware convert HDV to DVCProHD and edit in DVCProHD to avoid hassle with HDV editing and save time. (I have eSATA RAID)
