I'm converting (demuxing) "DVD vob file audio" to wav files. I test a section with a freeware program and it sounds good.

But I'm just wondering if some programs do a better job of converting than others. Or do they all just transpose the digital numbers into another format? I'd like to end up with the best audio possible.

any thoughts?
