Not great footage... just goofing around on a shoot yesterday. Also, poorly framed and focused cause the image was upsideodnw (need a Marshall monitor).
Anyhoo, I think it looks stellar on my HDTV. Like super 16.

It looks nice for a first time, Matthew. But I do understand your dilemma. I've been making some tests with the letus35A and it's hell to frame and focus upside down. I gotta get me a monitor.

Yeah... I mena, on my XL2 I had a lilliput 800X480 monitor which was awsome for framing and focusing, but when I connect it through BNC, the image is so freaking soft, it's impossible to focus. It HAD a VGA in so I coulda done component to VGA, but I removed it cause it was in the way.
I hear the marshall and nebtek monitors are quite good...
I also heard someone found a way to hack the HVX monitor to flip the image! Any chances on the A1...

OMG that looks gorgeous!!!!! Didja lose some colour saturatino with the adapter? Or did you do that yourself cuz honestly with the desaturation in colour i think it REALLY looks like film!
Glad to see Jake in the footage too!
Can't wait to meet up today and have a loook @ your Setup

Matthew, I see what you mean, even without an M2, focus can be tricky.
My new G1 kit should arrive in about three-days, including an HVA marshall monitor, (I don't have an M2 yet -one headache at a time). I'll let you know how the marshall fairs, (I'll also have a 17" Sony LMD HD-SDI for comparison). My hope is that the marshall 480 line model addresses the focus.
The marshall has mounting points on all four edges allowing upside-down mounting for flip.

Great looking footage. The shot between the cars looks almost surreal - like a model!
