I'd love to get some feedback on the quality of the mic pre's for the A1 as well as it's AD conversion abilities? How does the camera audio compare to a seperate audio package? Is it just tolerable, or a worthy option?

The Xlrs are worthy. But I would recommend a pre coming in. Other than that and having a good mic at hand the A1 performs well.
