Anyone using this with the A1 yet? Any issues or tips? Thanks.

we hard mounted ours without a problem. You still need a shim though. Just one piece of 1/16" shim plate.

Nice. Did you get a complete kit, and if so, which one? I have access to some Nikon F lens'.

get the HD version that comes with the 72mm archormat. The standard rod that comes with the bundle should be sufficient enough to even take in a matte box. oh yeah, we use the Nikon lenses as well.

Tips? you will need an external monitor.

Thanks. I put that on the list.

For monitors I'm looking at either the Varizoom (swit) HD, or the Marshall HD. The varizoom is cheaper and uses camcorder batteries. (Not sure what the added cost of the Marshall will buy me).

This thread is useless without footage! hehe, all kidding aside I (as I am sure MANY on this forum) am very excited to see some xh-a1 footage 24f + m2 footage. The A1 footage is quite impressive as it is and I would love to see what a redrock can do for it.

ncje posted some footage at the dvxuser forum but he just got the m2 so I think (and he agrees) it's not as amazing as it could be. But give it time and I'm sure he'll show up with some very amazing stuff. Dennis Woods (the brevis35 inventor) also bought an A1 and I'm sure it won't be long until we see some footage.
