I shoot on the JVC HD100 in 720/24P and edit in DNxHD. What is the proper effect to add to the whole sequence so that I can get a true 2.35:1 ratio?

Richard Alvarez November 18th, 2006, 07:31 PM I don't have the suite open, but I think it's under "film" effects, there is a selection of masks. Pick the one you want and drop it on. (It'll be the one listed as anamorphic) Steve Benner November 18th, 2006, 09:14 PM There is no mask for 2.35:1 and the Anamorphic mask it too small when placed in a 16x9 project. Thanks though. Ben Winter November 19th, 2006, 10:39 AM Here are three masks for use. Two are 1080 (1.85, 2.35) and one is 720 for your JVC footage that is a 2.35:1 mask. I hope these work for you. place them over your footage and use screen key? I think? I'm sure you'll figure it out. Richard Alvarez November 19th, 2006, 11:03 AM Steve, I'm pretty sure the anamorphic mask IS 2.35. What exactly are you looking for? (EDIT: Oh, I see, you're putting it ON a 16X9, yeah, it would be crushed down in that case. Ben's masks should work for you then) Steve Benner November 19th, 2006, 05:55 PM Thanks guys! |
