I shot some footage of my RC car with my NTG2. Notice how you can hear the shell scraping on the asphalt, the tires leaving the grond after the jumps, and the tires skidding on the ground as it does a 180. I am extremely satisfied with this mic.

Thank you, Brandon for that great sounding footage. I also vote for the R0de NTG series shotguns. Perhaps the best value for the money. An as an owner of a Sennheiser 416, the R0de comes pretty close to its pickup ability...
