My doc is showing in the BayArea at ILFFest. Since I live in Argentina, I'd like to check out the HVX (and other HDcams, plus Steady systems) somewhere in the BayArea, where I'll stay for a week. Can anyone recommend a store or such?

Federico -
Click on this link:
http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=93120&catGroupId=15768&surfModel=AG-HVX200
Then click on the "Find a Dealer" link and input 94301 (that's the zip code for Palo Alto, CA). It'll give you a list of dealers in the Bay Area that you might want to call on.
Have a fun time!!

thanks! I've already did what you recommend, but the stores that popped up didn't seem to be that big, you know, to have the camera in stock and all that. Anyway, I will try them, but I was expecting more of an official Pana place or something. thanks again!

Federico,
if you're in the bay area they're is not a Big video store like B&h in NY or some outlet in LA.
You might want to try Snader & Associate,(http://www.snader.com) they do have a lot of the gears in stock, but they don't have a store per say.

These may be the guys to go to for equipment rentals. They're located in Berkeley. If this doesn't work out, I amy be able to rent out some of my equipment, assuming that your dates do not conflict with our production schedule.
