Thought i ought to introduce myself, since i'm new to the forum.
I'm a freelance steadicam operator, cameraman and editor (jack of all trades really)
I'm based in the UK- the majority of my work is for a company who film property for estate agents- dull work, but its regular.
I have a lot of experience with DV and HDV cameras, and i've done a lot of steadicam work, primarily with a Flyer.
Hopefully i can make a break soon into TV, or at least something a bit more exciting. Dream job would probably be working for the beebs natural history dept- filming projects like planet earth, or filming for top gear.
I'm interested in learning from others, what do you all do, and how did you get there?
Regards
- Pete
