I´m very glad with my new JVC HD100 and starting to know the equipment.... the video quality is extraordinary, however I've noticed sometimes strange "background" noise when recording live (with the included mic) .... it sometimes sounds like a "buzz" or some kind of noise below voices or normal audio ...
Also the "peaks" on my NLE (Vegas) are not uniform and appears like "truncated" (as if there were "clipping", but without over-volume...)

any help, tip or recomendation would be greatly apreciated... ocassionaly the audio is fine (and the peaks on my NLE...) ....

Regards

Several people are having this issue. My camera is with JVC for the THIRD time now! It is particularly bad with high sensitivity mics nd low sound levels.
