Hi guys,
i made some lightloss comparsions between the Canon Ee-S, Nikon D, custom made glass gg and selfmade wax-gg's. But see for yourself.

Wow,
Can someone translate these lux ratings to F stops?
The light loss with and without Canon EE-S screen is sub 3%.
I wonder what would the result been with EE-A screen that`s considered 0.5 to 1 stops brighter than EE-S screen according to Canon`s documentation.
Cheers,

Hi Daniel,
I was wondering if your vibrating holder can accomodate a nikon D and if you have any test shots with the red dot?
I think it is too heavy for Toenis's as it has a built in condenser.
cheers

David, any modern focusing screen has built in condenser in the form of frensel lens, if that helps. No need for PCX in that matter.

Hi david,
i can build a vibrating gg-holder for the nikon d focusing screen too but then the outer diameter would be bigger then 57mm. You will have to use other tubes or a box instead of the cheap asian macrotubes. If you are interested just mail me.
