anyone have experience with both cameras care to comment?

Comparisons from still frames are all we need to see... leave both cameras in tape mode, not card mode, and enable simultaneous image recording in order to shoot a .jpeg image on the SD card while using the video colorspace (not photo as it would be in card mode). Attach those frames here as still images, or if you really want to show some video clips, I'm happy to host them on our media server.
