I am making the move from digital still photography to digital video and will be doing my first wedding with my new xl1s this weekend. I must say that I am much more nervous about this first than when I did my first wedding with still photography. Any general advice that may help things go smoothly would be appreciated. I am using the xl1s with the varizoom monitor and azden uhf wireless mic system. I will be doing the editing using Pinnacle Pro One real time with premiere. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dane

My only suggestion for shooting weddings is don't ever let the mother-of-the-bride make eye contact with you.

Wrath has no scorn like the mother-of-the-bride.

http://www.videouniversity.com is geared toward wedding video, and there are a lot of informative articles there.
Tip #1: start shooting the bride as she gets ready, before the ride to the chapel.
Tip #2: don't offer her the ride.
