How do I export to h.264 16:9 using compressor for web video? Or do I have to do DVD res?? Having trouble figuring this out and it seems that I can only export in 4:3???? Thanks in advance!

Rob, what about exporting to QT ref movie (no need to include source footage- make ref mov) and export from QT as H.264 mov in whatever dimensions you'd want?

Ok... I guess I need to upgrade to quicktime pro then? I was just trying to use the presets in compressor. Getting stuff optimized for web is new for me so I'm sorry for the lame question!

Not a lame question at all- actually if you have FCP then you already have the license for QT Pro- check the DVD's- the serial for QT pro should be in the box for FCP or FCS.

What Final Cut version are you using? The most recent version of Compressor outputs 16:9 sequences as 16:9 web video without any adjustment. Earlier versions have to be adjusted from 4:3 in the "Geometry" tab.

I am using 5.1... I found a way to do it in the geometry tab, but is there a pre-set? I would have thought there would be a preset but I guess I'm wrong!
