i am currious as to the performace of the HVX lens it self. i am looking into purchasing a 35mm adapter soon, but in the mean time, i am looking to get some feedback on the performance, as is.

also, on a different note... i am in the process of setting up my own website. can anyone direct me to a past forum that discussed high-res links, server info, etc. i am very impressed by most of the members' websites, and hope that i can grab some tips on how all of yours look so great.

Joseph, the HVX lens performs great for what it is. I'd use the "search" feature to find about about websites, etc.

It's a good lens, no doubt about it. The only thing is, it doesn't allow you to get too much shallow DOF- its a lens that has compromises in order to fulfill many type of shooting conditions (Wide and tele). Used properly, the HVX, even without a 35mm adapter, can produce beautifull film like imagery- just look at the Motivity pictures clips.
