View Full Version : Delete handles on audio rubberbands?

In Premiere 6.5, once I've placed handles on the audio rubberbands, is there a way to delete the handles later if I decide I don't need them? I mean a way other than the Undo command or the History palette, which won't work for me because I've made other edits since putting the handles on that I don't want to undo.

I was hoping I could just drag the handles off of the timeline to delete them, but that doesn't work.

Yes, I know I can just adjust the volume to whatever level I want and leave the handles in place, but for various reasons I would prefer to delete the handles.

Is there a way to do that?

I only have experience with 6.0, but there you can easily remove a handle by dragging it outside the particular audio track. Just tested it. Just drag it to just above or below the track.

Would be surprised if Adobe removed that option in 6.5

Hans,

You're right. Thanks.

Man, I'm sure I tried that before asking....

Ha, that's pretty funny, I had the same problem. I would be trying to get the right handle on a 4 sec clip and accidentally end up with like 5 handles. Thanks!
