Wayne Crawford Most maps are copyright but try the Federal government printing office. State department, DOD, FAA, Coast & Geodetic Survey, etc publish maps and you might be able to find some there that you can use. At least as far as I know, if it's produced by the government with taxpayer funding it's in the public domain and you can use it freely however you want, at least in the USA. Tim Pearce November 8th, 2006, 07:29 PM hi, I've only used the free version of Goggle Earth, but the pro version (400$) has a movie making feature. I've seen google animations in a documentary where you fly around over certain sites. I'm sure that you could get a still overhead image if you wished. I've also seen these animations on TV news items. I'm not sure if there's any additional fee to use google earth animations for a film/tv project after you pay the 400$ for the pro version. I love travelling and maps. Google earth is devine... http://earth.google.com/earth_pro.html Tim |
