Hey all...I received my Samson Micro 32 wireless kit today. I knew it came with a mini-xlr female to XLR-male for hooking the receiver to your mixer or camera or whatever...but is there any place that sells a mini-xlr female to XLR female cable?

My intention is to hook other mics to the body pack besides the LAV that came with it. (a shogtun for example). Both the body pack and the receiver have mini-XLR male.

One place said they could make one, but their prices were ridiculous ($50 + shipping for a two foot cable). There has to be a cheaper custom place, or someplace that sells that cable.

Get over to Radio Shack and buy a XLR female to Female turnaround. Runs about $10. Small, attaches to the male end and covnerts it to a female end.

I have the same situation and havn't been able to find an adapter for the small XLR.

I resorted to getting the Samson Air transmitter for mics. It has its own receiver (wallwart type) but it also works with the Samson Micro32 receivers on channel two.

It works surprising well. I think it was only about $125. I've used it in a 100' range many times without dropping the signal once. May go further, I just haven't pushed it yet.

Use it for boomed shotguns, handhelds - whatevah...

Yeah, that website has some great stuff. They had the exact cable I needed.
