Anyone have any feedback on the new Raynox HD-5000pro? It appears to have zoom through capability, anyone tried it with mx5k? Thx.

Do you have the link handy? So others and I may get some info? Thanks.

Looks like a nice lens. However, you have to use an adaptor ring to screw it on the MX's 43mm filter threads. Would this blur the edges of the video? I don't know. The Tiffen, on the other hand, comes in the 43mm thread size, and is also about .5 wide angle. I've checked the Tiffen, it's structure and glass is of very high quality, and it does have good zoom through. Which is better? I really don't know because I've never seen this Raynox nor any Raynox. Maybe I'll phone around tomorrow to see if anyone carries it, and then I can look it over and try it on my MX.

I had the tiffen as well which was a very good lens. I also had a raynox MX3000 PRO fisheye and the 2x teleconverter. Raynox lenses were very good as well. Although I think Frank is right. THe tiffen is probably more suitable just so you don't need adapters or anything.
