Apologies if this has been asked before. Does the HV10 have a function that will flip the image upside down? I believe the XL H1 does this. Perfect for use with 35mm lens adapter.

Chris Hurd October 13th, 2006, 09:07 PM Sorry but no it does not have this function. 99.95% of the camera's intended market would have no idea what to do with it anyway. Noah Hayes October 13th, 2006, 09:20 PM That would be a very awkward 35mm adaptor for the HV10...it doesn't have the traditional camcorder shape. Rylan Wright October 14th, 2006, 02:01 AM Yeah. No flip function, but it can mount to a M2 adapter just fine.Day footage looks amazing, low light is tricky because you have no control over the gain ,but I can look past that. Glen I believe even with non pro cams you can squeeze out pro results. Love this camera with or without the M2 Robert Batta October 14th, 2006, 08:22 AM hi, please send video samples or frame grabs ! thanks Robert Glenn Thomas October 15th, 2006, 04:59 PM Rylan, yeah, I use an SG Pro with my HC1. But it's awkward with a heavy Manfrotto Magic Arm attached just to hold a 7" LCD upside down. The results do look great though. Mark Fry October 16th, 2006, 09:47 AM The HV10 looks so small, and mating it to a 35mm adaptor must be quite cumbersome anyway, so why not mount the cam upside down in front of the focusing screen? Or is that too ridiculous? |
