Hey everybody,
I made a dvd production and now I want to delete everything that I didn't use in the end to save space on my external hard drive. What is the best and more important the safest way to do this? Thank you in advance?

Niels,
It would help if you could tell us what NLE you are editing with.
In AVID, for instance, there is a function called 'consolidate' which will consolidate all the footage in a project, allowing you to eliminate the excess footage.

Hey Richard,
I am editing in Final Cut 5.1.2. , so maybe it is the same as in Avid. Thank you.

FCP has the same feature. It is called Media Manager and has lots of options.
