I have been importing HDV clips from my HD100 using HDVxDV to get the M2T streams, and then encoding them with MPEGStreamclip to whatever file-format I'm editing in. However, wehenever I export, I always get into trouble because the streams consistently have "databreaks". The number of these appear to differ based on which format I'm exporting to, as does the time needed to export.
I'm curious if this is normal, and if not, is it a problem with:
A) HDVxDV import?
B) MPEGStreamclip?
C) my JVC GY-HD100A?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
**ALSO: I have seen in several other posts that people like using another application to import M2Ts. I think it's called DVHSCap, or somehting? Is there a straightforward reason for using this? Where can I download the application? Thanks again!
