I found something interesting this morning that might interest SD media users (like the HD1). Sans Digital has an enclosure with a battery that will use a laptop hard drive as storage for a bunch of the different card types.

You have to add a laptop drive, but for around $100+, you can have 60-80GB of portable storage to offload SD cards.
Not confirming it works, but it might be something intesting to have if it does work.
