Didn't see this listed anywhere, but thought if it wasn't, it'd be nice to know if anyone's using it yet:

If you use your "on-camera" monitor on a separate tripod (like we and many others do) or on camera, this new little hi-res monitor takes HD inputs via component connections (or S-Video/composite). Also has framing guides and takes Sony batteries.

Anybody using this monitor? If so, tell us what you think. I'm needing some new monitors and this looks a little cheaper than the Marshall's for the same res and with slightly bigger size to boot.

It looks good, but it doesn't appear to have a 4 pin xlr power connection, or a video loop-through like the marshall. I would also be interested to hear what the picture quality is like as I need an HD monitor too... also, what video formats does it take? the spec just says pal/ntsc

Yes, I thought the same thing: no loop-thru. That would definitely hurt it for those of us using it in a multicam config and/or needing to output to off camera recording medium (RAID or HDD). Especially in studio environments...

It really doesn't have much info with it, either. I could possibly live with the lack of 4-pin DC power, but the lack of loop-thru for component or S-Video would be the killer.
