Hello poeple,
A guy has asked me to shoot some footage with my HD101, the question is he will be using 16 mm camera, what or how will i give him the footage from my camera if i use a mac and he edits on p/pro ?.He has his footage put on o DV CAM tape at 720 x 576.
We have tried a few thing but i am no good with p/pro
Any help please.

Capture the footage into your Mac using the HDV capture. Or if you are shooting 24p use what ever method you have been using to capture.
Drag the footage onto a standard DV PAL timeline. It should automatically letterbox. If you need full screen you'll have to zoom in and move the framing if needed. Render and print to DV or DVCam tape. He can then capture the footage as needed from tape just like he did with the tele-cine of the 16mm footage. Quality should be good.
Third party video boards might provide a better down-res of the HDV footage. Someone else will have to testify to that.

when you say print to tape i have never bin able to get the footage back on to the HD 101.
Any id on the setting to go back on to the cam ?

Switch the 101 to DV not HDV for "Print to Tape" for this particular job. It should respond like a normal DV VTR at this point with Final Cut. I am assuming that's what you are using with your Mac. I have never attemped to print back to my camera so I can't pretend any experience with this particular operation with this model. I have printed DV to the JVC HDV deck and that worked perfectly.
