Well this is my situation. A month ago I got a call from a lady that spoke spanish and had my friend translate for me over the phone. Lady asked for prices, told her the starting prices. Photography $$$$ Video $$$$. (they start at the same price) So we setup up a meeting, I go and the lady saw my price sheet and was stunned, she thought both video and photo together was the price that my friend told them over the phone. I was a little angered once I heard this and because my friend quoted her that price I told them ok no problem for this job. The girl wanted package 2 from the video side, I told her that was fine if they drop the photography. They did that. The job was finished 2 weeks ago and I got a call last week from a new client and they want the job. I book a nice package deal. Got a call from them today and they want the same deal as I gave the other girl that my friend quoted the wrong price to. I sent a email to the previous client as I think she is having bad family problems stating the situation and what they really got and what they need to tell their friends. It is this price instead of this price. What's the best way to redeem this situation? The new clients downgraded their package to package 1 photography and video.
