Just rented the crime against humanity that is the 30th anniversary edition, and it looks like I'm going to have to buy this movie if I want to see it in its undefiled state. Apparently it's in the public domain and there are dozens of versions for sale, most of which are probably poor transfers. Can anyone recommend the best version to buy? Does Criterion have one?

I have the original release on VHS. I didn't know it was PD.
