I've been asked to sell the Manfrotto 116 Mk3 fluid head for a friend, but can't seem to find much on it. Is it still a current model? It's a pretty solid afair, with twin telescoping pan arms and a chunky sliding plate that's bigger than a lot of palmcorders.

It looks like the 3066 head, which is now the 516 (?)

I never quite got why Bgn/Mfto did that. It seems every 5 years or so, same heads, different numbers.

How much are you/they asking?

I need a video head...and a decent one on a budget...and the 116MKIII would be a great fit.

It is a heavy duty pro video head and has twin pan handles, spirit level, huge quick release plate (MN116 PT). It looks like new. £150. That's UK pounds, and it weighs 3.6 kg (over 9 lbs) so will cost a bit in postage.

Thank you for entertaining my request.
