I have a scene with dialogue that was shot on the JVCHD100 in both 24P and 60i. How do I put them both on the same timeline properly without making it look weird or losing sound sync?

Cal Thorpe August 11th, 2006, 10:59 AM Even with a render the 30p footage looks juttery. More than a 24p jutter. Any more ideas? Scott Jaco August 14th, 2006, 09:19 PM Are you mixing 30p or 24p with that 60i footage? I would re-capture the HDV footage with AIC codec. Cal Thorpe August 14th, 2006, 09:45 PM I'm mixing 30p and 24p footage. I'm using AIC as my timeline codec. Thanks for the response. Scott Jaco August 15th, 2006, 01:47 AM I refuse to shoot anything in HDV 24p until Apple can natively support it. In the meantime, you could shoot SD 24p letterboxed, I know FCP supports this format if you really need the 24p look. |
